Mike No

Ever since the death of Modernism, Art has become a soulless vessel with NO meaningful substance. NO longer will you look at a picture and feel the emptiness of complacency. In Mike NO’s work, he rejects a brush, rejects the filter that is the capitulation to technicality, he rejects the filters that are the tools of repose, and he rejects those boundaries that hinder revelation. Whether Mike NO is painting, creating digital art, mixing media, making films, or taking photographs, you get 100 percent of raw, unfiltered, adulterated expression.

With every line, He gives you him.

With every form, He gives you him.

With every image, He gives you him.

With every symbol, He gives you him.

With every color, He gives you him.

With every shade, He gives you him.

This is one man’s journey through a 21st Century American Life as he deconstructs what is the American Nightmare; poverty, oppression, injustice, and the battle for the Freedom of American Expression. The author's truest expression was killed half a century ago by the likes of Roland Barthes, Andy Warhol, and Roy Lichtenstein. He has now returned. Warhol once said that he wanted to be a machine, well Mike NO is a machine gun. It is time to place expression back into the hands of the masses and to hold those accountable for its demise. Now is the time for Justice.

This is AMERICAN VIGILANTE EXPRESSION.
